PRIZE AND NEW CD: IBEROAMERICANO
In 2019, Daniel is releasing his 10th album, Iberoamericano, featuring some of Brazil’s leading singers, with a large supporting band playing a variety of Latin-American rhythms. The repertoire has 12 new compositions by Daniel, including the 6 songs written upon winning the 4th International Iberoamerican Songwriting Composition Competition “Ibermúsicas”.

NEW DVD: UFRGS GUITAR FESTIVAL

Released during the 10th UFRGS Guitar Festival, this documentary offers a historic overview of the event, based on accounts given by guest artists, teachers and students, interspersed with images from various didactic activities and concert excerpts. The DVD also includes the reports produced by UFRGS TV throughout the years.

NEW SCORES PUBLISHED: GUITAR MUSIC FROM RIO GRANDE DO SUL

Daniel just started the Música Impressa (Music in Print) series, at the UFRGS Graduate Music Program. The first volume contains guitar works from Southern Brazil, recorded by Daniel on his CD Porto Allegro, winner of the Açorianos Prize for Best Classical album of 2013 (listen to sample tracks)
